Information on Memorials
North West Memorials offers a range of services. Click here for more information.
A memorial or headstone is a lasting tribute to a loved one and before purchasing one should give careful consideration as to the purpose of the stone and also to the regulations that might apply to it.
What are the cemetery's rules? Many local authorities have regulations and restrictions on the size and height of headstones, while others may or may not allow kerbs or wrought iron railings for example.
Before considering the wording for a memorial please consider how many people will be comemorated on the stone, as most graves will eventually contain more than one person.
Consider the upkeep of the memorial; although a ten year guarantee is given on all our memorials and anchor systems they will be in place for considerably longer than this. White and light coloured memorials will require much more cleaning than black ones.
The larger and more complex a headstone the more upkeep it will require in years to come.
If you would like to purchase a memorial or require a quote then please click here for more information. Home visits are available.
As people always require a different memorial in a different colour and in a different environment it is not possible to give a quote online, and for this reason we do ask you to contact us for a confidential and competetive quotation.
