Headstone and Monument Safety

All headstones and monuments should be securely fixed to the ground so as not to cause injury or death. In most cases it is the responsibility of the grave owner to ensure that the gravestone or monument is safe.

When a new headstone or monument is fitted the stone mason will install an anchor system. However on older stones they will more than likely be simply cemented to a concrete base - there was also a practice of using copper dowels which were not placed deep enough into the stone to make them safe.

We will make the headstone safe with the correct anchor system for the size of the headstone or monument from £95. We give a ten year guarantee on all our work and we only use the highest grade of materials.
